Hi, George! No, I didn’t use a tripod – this was a family trip with a group of seven, and I didn’t have a tripod with me; as far as I know, it wouldn’t have been permitted in St. Peter’s anyway. And no, all my shots are not coming out this good, but when they don’t, it seems to be my fault, not the camera or the lens. I’m very happy with what I’ve been able to do so far.
